The automatic SPT hammer ensures extremely consistent and accurate Standard Penetration Test results, meeting all ASTM-D-1586 requirements. There are no ropes or cables to obstruct the weight's free fall, and a viewing slot allows verification of the 760 mm fall height. For safety, all moving parts, including the impact area between the weight and anvil, are enclosed.

Automatic SPT offers a hands-free, safe option for penetration testing. It can be hoisted over an anvil or attached to a side arm on the rig.
